About Daniel
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who treats symptoms as survival functions. If you've felt misread by the world (or by systems that are supposed to help us), you've found the right place.

Philosophy of Practice
-
Develop a Therapeutic Relationship > Contain > Apply Language > Integrate. I seek understanding you before making hasty assumptions.
-
Deep, not vague. I use psychoanalytic existential and relational methods; when needed, I add behavioral tools such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Logic-Based Therapy (LBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
-
Bidirectional reality-testing. Both the standard for measuring and the measurement are considered and tested.
-
Faith friendly yet scientifically grounded: I can integrate spirituality when it helps the client and work within grounded theory and based evidence.
